Before we arrived at the Tom Keefer counter protest to our scheduled anti racism rally, an amateur videographer was on scene with our camera gear to capture the scene and mingle with the crowd. Between us, we got some good footage of the event which I’m glad to share with you here.

Please note in advance that these videos will need time to buffer if you want to watch them full screen in high resolution.

In the first clip our guy is questioned at length by one of the Natives for taking video of the Keefer protest. It’s worth noting that there were dozens of cameras on us the entire time we were there, and not once did we bother anyone about it, or try to hide from them.

How many keystone cops does it take to separate hundreds of protestors on opposite sides of a contentious issue? Judging by the actions of the OPP today, the answer is under a dozen.

As most who read this site already know, today was to be Merlyn Kinrade’s Anti Racism rally in Caledonia, but a somewhat intriguing development caused a change in plans. Tom Keefer of CUPE 3909 brought his unkempt rabble to town to hold a counter protest which he not so creatively called “the anti racism rally”.

Keefer was mistakenly alleged by the Institute for Global Jewish Affairs to have been formally expelled from Concordia university and banned from campus for spray painting antisemitic slogans on school property and threatening security guards who tried to stop him.(1)

In a letter to me this morning, Mr. Keefer denies that allegation, and states that he was exonerated and reinstated. When asked to provide documentation to this effect, Mr Keefer provided some questionable material, but we have dug up the evidence on our own and it would appear that the Institute for Global Jewish Affairs was mistaken. They drew what they perhaps thought to be a reasonable conclusion at the time, but to be clear Tom Keefer was never charged with painting graffiti of any kind.

More information is becoming available to us on this topic, and it will be explored further once we have had enough time to properly review all of the evidence.

A Cayuga Court justice has ordered criminal charges of obstruction of justice against OPP deputy commissioner Chris Lewis, and Superintendent Ron Gentle this morning for their role in having Gary McHale arrested in December 2007.

Although they knew they had no evidence against McHale, he was arrested to prevent a backlash from the criminal occupiers as Clyde Powless was arrested for assault. There was too much evidence of the cowardly attack from behind that Powless committed on McHale, so instructions were given to arrest McHale at the same time as Powless to appease Native extremists.

More info on these charges will be made available very soon both here and at caledoniawakeupcall.com

Also be sure to see a couple of excellent fact packed editorials by Mark Vandermaas of VoiceofCanada on the topic here & here

Caledonia residents Merlyn Kinrade and Doug Flemming are not planning to take the decision to hand over DCE to Six Nations quietly. Mr. Kinrade is going to hold a series of rallies starting with the Anti Racism rally during International anti racism week on March 21st, and Doug Flemming is planning a series of smoke shack rallies beginning April 11th.

Most people do their best to ignore the gaping hole in democracy that is the Douglas Creek Estates and go on with their lives in the hope that the Extremists who have terrorized their town in the past will simply decide not to do it again. It’s a strategy that may sound good to some in theory, but in practice it has simply allowed those who are desperate to make people forget about the dangers of DCE to further their agenda of getting closer to handing it over.

The reality is that DCE remains a sink hole that has drained the province and the County of countless dollars in failed policing, utilities for illegal occupiers, and the dead stop of all development in an area which was once set to explode. Wal-Mart pulling out of Dunville at the sight of some Mohawk Warrior flags is a perfect example of what could have been for Haldimand County.

We’re in a deep recession, and every penny of the taxes paid by everyone reading this combined will never begin to cover the cost of appeasing the DCE thugs. You work hard for your money so that those who choose to illegally occupy land in Ontario don’t have to.

As announced earlier this week, Merlyn Kinrade of CANACE is holding an anti racism rally in Caledonia on March 21st 2010. The plan is quite similar to other events we’ve had in town, and is in protest of the current plan of the McGuinty government to hand DCE to Six Nations. The Liberals are now denying that this is their plan, but we’re all used to their pathological need to lie by now.

Mr. Kinrade sent an invitation to his elected council to attend and speak to the public and media. He wasn’t brimming over with confidence that they would show up, but he wanted to give them a chance to stop sitting on their hands and speak up for their constituents during the lead up to the Municipal election later this year.
