The racist political policing (or extreme lack of) known as 2 Tiered Justice was first referred to regarding Caledonia & DCE, but it is far from contained to one small town.

When Native Criminals took over the building site of what was to be a retirement home in Hagersville, the OPP not only stood and watched but assisted them in erecting a barricade to keep the legal owner of the property off of his land.

On June 29, 2007 the OPP closed the busiest highway in the Country the 401 because a small group of Native thugs said they might do it. No attempt was made to stop any of the blockades led by Terrorist Shawn Brant. Instead the Police we pay to protect us assisted him by blockading the road themselves.

When they laid a claim to the future site of a Wal-Mart in Dunville, nothing was done to stop them and the latest rumors are that Wal-Mart is canceling the building because of it.

When the Criminals showed up at a housing development in Brantford and demanded the construction of 200 new homes come to a halt, the OPP did nothing and the developer stopped.

Here We Go Again

Another one bites the dust!

Yes folks, it’s happened again. This time in Brantford, go figure!

A developer in Brantford was contacted by Six Nations last Thursday and told he had to stop all development of a housing sub-division because the land he bought wasn’t his. It belongs to Six Nations. Sound familiar?

The developer of Mayberry Homes, Mike Quattrociocchi, says he did everything right, everything he was supposed to do. He bought the land, got the land title, got the building permits, then made the fatal mistake of thinking all was good for go and he was in the clear. Never mind the fact that by that time, even before any ground was broken, before any basement was poured, before he did anything else, he would have spent millions already.

Now, after being told to stop all development, he is frustrated. Now that’s an understatement.

And, as if that weren’t enough, last Friday, six natives paid him a visit and told him that if he didn’t stop all development they would get twenty to thirty more natives to come and occupy land he had legally purchased, and legally had received all necessary land title, deed, and building permits for. Lock, stock and barrel!

So who runs this province anyways? Not the spineless McGuinty government, a government that would fail to recognize leadership if it bit them in the you-know-what!

The police perhaps? Nope!

So far, not one single developer, not one single police force, not one single McGuinty government MPP has stood up for justice.

To be sure, the developers, and they are a growing number, have made noise, but to no avail. Development has been stopped in Caledonia, Dunnville, Hagersville, to name a few, and now in Brantford, again.

Spineless, leadership clueless governments have enabled radical natives to thwart development and progress. Any why not? They’ve been given the green light by the government to go ahead, bring economic terrorism to town after town. They’ve been told to go ahead, claim land parcel after land parcel, rightly or wrongly so, and you just never know, you may walk away with oodles and oodles of land and cash to boot.

One glimmer of hope though. October 10 is coming up fast. Why not dump the clueless, leadership challenged McGuinty Liberals. After all, you can’t get any worse form of government that one which doesn’t govern.

“There are only two ways of dealing with the white man. One, either you pick up a gun, or you stand between the white man and his money.” Chief Terrance Nelson on CTV.

“I don’t give a rat’s ass whether I create victims or not… not until every single home has suffered as we have suffered will I stop.” Shawn Brant, Mohawk Warrior in Deseronto.

We are all well aware that in any community you have racist people. When these people gather together to make extreme public statements against another group of people we all understand that such actions conflict with the peaceful co-existence and multiculturalism that Canadians are so proud of.

When such racism is wrapped up with a superiority rant then a Supremacy Movement is born. We all understand the dangers of White Supremacy Groups and Muslim Extremists, but we need to understand there is a growing movement of Native Supremacy that justifies violent actions against other races.

Our Governments and Police Forces do not have a problem dealing with White Supremacy Groups or Muslim Extremists and we all understand that such groups only represent the views of a very small portion of society.

We noticed on the CSIS web site the following example of a terrorist threat in Canada: “White supremacists have been aggressively opposing the immigration policies of the Canadian government and have used violent rhetoric against the Jewish community.

But how has our Government and the Police handled the Native Supremacy Groups? Well, first they deny they even exist. No amount of extreme ‘violent rhetoric’ against another race has caused CSIS, OPP or any police force to deal with these extremists.

I am unaware of any White Supremacy Group physically destroying a bridge or power station, but we have witnessed it being done by people whose publicly stated view is nothing short of Native Supremacy. The public statements that violate and victimize another race are acceptable and are commonplace in the ‘rhetoric’ of these extremists.

I can assure you that if I created a t-shirt that stated ‘my heroes have always killed Natives’ the police would be at my door charging me with a Hate Crime.

If I stated, “There are only two ways of dealing with the Jews. One, either you pick up a gun, or you stand between the Jew and his money”, you bet there would be Human Rights Complaints filed against me in a heart beat and the police would lay Hate Crime charges against me.

Racism and Hatred are responsible for many of the evils we see around the world. Canadians are trying to build a society where respect and tolerance for others is the way of life. There is no room within a modern society for any group that wants to promote their racist hatred.

We, as a People, must always be willing to denounce such racism in whatever form it takes.

We call upon Governments and Police to use Canada’s Hate Crime Laws and Anti-Terrorism Act to help fight against such racism and hatred. It is time for CSIS and the Police to deal with the creators and promoters of the racist videos below.

The promotion of violence and hatred by any person or group CANNOT be tolerated in Canadian Society.

WARNING: The posted videos contain disturbing images and explicit language. They also contain PROOF of, and encourage extreme violence, killing and terrorism. These videos could be seen as proof for a Native Supremacy Movement in Canada that labels all White people as Evil.

It appears that not only does our Government support Two Tier Policing we now find out that the Government supports Two Tier Health Care.

Just how many years has Health Canada been telling people that smoking is bad for you? Suddenly Health Canada has decided that Native Tobacco is a HEALER of diseases.

The Ad complain tells us that Commerical Tobacco is a KILLER and causes Cancer, Stroke, Heart Disease, Emphysema, Impotence, Infertility and Death.

Traditional Native Tobacco is a HEALER and it brings about Wisdom, Love, Respect, Bravery, Honesty, Humility and Truth. [see Poster]

Health Canada provides funding for this Aboriginal Tobacco Strategy, but if you click on the photo you will see that Health Canada added the following disclaimer to the bottom of the poster:

One has to hand it to Grice for informing the public about the Revenge factor as the motivator behind the Email motion. During the debate about the Email motion Grice did a little speech in which he talked about a united council. To be more exact he was pointing to the press release by the council that blamed Harper and Harper alone for the ongoing problems on DCE.

The Council was united that the OPP shared no blame. The Council was united that McGuinty should not be blamed at all. Grice and all the councillors wanted to blame Harper alone and thus they issued their press release.

Grice stated last night that the Mayor publicly went against this within a few short hours.

Grice and Council were completely united that it was time to help McGuinty’s re-election campaign and say almost word for word what McGuinty and Fantino have been passing by the public as the truth for months. What McGuinty wants most is for the public, just before the election, to think that he has handled Caledonia properly.

How exactly, Mr. Grice, was Harper to stop the attack on the CHTV camera crew?

It is the OPP not the RCMP who police  Caledonia – maybe you didn’t notice that point?

How exactly, Mr. Grice, was Harper to stop McGuinty from buying DCE? How was Harper to stop McGuinty from appealing Judge Marshall’s decision?

How was Harper responsible for appointing Fantino, the bully who has you so scared to speak out because he threatened to sue you?

It doesn’t take much logic to conclude that in Grice’s mind the council needs access to the Mayor’s email to ensure that she doesn’t speak out.

Now Mr. Grice didn’t directly say this – what politician directly says anything?  But he talked about how upset he was by the Mayor’s actions over the press release and this he did while debating the email motion.

Grice didn’t say the motion was needed so he could know about events in the area or because he was missing being invited to such events. He didn’t talk about how the motion was to allow for better bonding between the Mayor and the new CAO – those were Boyko’s and Bartlett’s speeches.

How, exactly, is passing this email motion to help?

He stated, “Will this solve the problem? No. Will it help? maybe”. I got one clear message from Mr. Grice’s speech – How dare you mayor speak out. We told you what to say.

Fortunately for Haldimand County Mayor Trainer is no puppet.

 August 13, 2007

Lots of detailed information about this historic meeting is being made available via this site,  www.voiceofcanada.ca and www.caledoniawakeupcall.com so I am going to just give you the straight brutal facts as they happened.

Democracy in Haldimand County is now dead. Your right as a citizen to communicate privately with your elected Mayor was Squashed in an unprecedented and unthinkable vote at tonight’s Council Meeting.

Buck Sloat voted that your privacy in speaking your mayor means nothing

Lorne Boyko voted that your privacy in speaking with your mayor means nothing.

Leroy Bartlett voted that your privacy in speaking with your mayor means nothing

Tony Dalimonte voted that your privacy in speaking with your mayor means nothing

Don Ricker voted that your  privacy in speaking with your mayor means nothing.

ONLY Craig Grice had the guts to stand up and vote against this absurd resolution which violates the privacy of each and every citizen of Haldimand.

In very weak and thinly veiled attempts to justify their votes, Buck Sloat stood up and angrily proclaimed that he missed out on attending a private function for which the invitation was sent to Mayor Trainer. If someone wanted him at their function, is it not logical to assume they would send an invitation to him?

Leroy Bartlett offered the explanation that this is nothing personal against the Mayor (which of course it is) and that this is about better communication between the offices of the Mayor and the soon to be replaced Chief Administrative Officer.

Lorne Boyko repeated the same propaganda that this is about a “good relationship” between the Mayor and the CAO. A good relationship based on the complete undermining of the authority of the Chief Executive Officer of the County, Mayor Marie Trainer. If that makes sense to anyone, please feel free to comment and explain so that I too may understand this twilight zone logic.

Kudos to Craig Grice for having the guts to stand up in the middle of this insanity and say that he has no interest in the personal email of the Mayor.

Congratulations are also in order for the way Mayor Trainer handled herself against these jackles tonight. She made it very clear that at no time did any member of Council have the guts to say to her face that they felt there was a problem with the way the email system works, that this is an outright attack on the privacy of her constituents, and many other excellent statements that will be reported on in the coming days. She also made a point of explaining to those in attendance after the vote that your emails to her are no longer private.

Audio and Video from this meeting will be coming soon on www.caledoniawakeupcall.com

Much more detailed information is forthcoming. Those are the basics of tonights Council meeting. Your rights mean nothing to your councillors, and they feel they have to right to undercut the authority of the CEO of the County Mayor Trainer because one of them missed a function that nobody sent him an invitation to personally.

Each and every resident of Haldimand County who cares about Democracy is needed in Council Chambers this coming Monday night August 13th @ 6pm as Council continues to try to force through a resolution to deny the public the right to privacy in their correspondence with Mayor Marie Trainer. Council was forced today to defer this issue until Monday by a request from the Ministry to investigate whether they are even legally allowed to pass such an absurd resolution and the issue will be spoken to on Monday night at 6pm.

I have just returned from spending 2 days in Cayuga at Haldimand County Council meetings and have witnessed with my own eyes Haldimand Council fighting desperately against democracy and the citizens who elected them.

As those who read the previous post by Mark Vandermaas are aware, Council set forth a resolution that they should each be copied every email and every piece of letter mail coming and going from the office of Mayor Marie Trainer. This is being done out of sheer contempt for the fact that Mayor Trainer refuses to join them in becoming puppets for the McGuinty Liberals. Many residents do not wish to speak to their Council member because they will not receive a response or would prefer to receive an honest one so they go to the only person they know still speaks for and represents them, Mayor Trainer.

This was designed to sneak through quietly by being on the Tuesday morning after a long weekend and buried in the agenda for the day with other business so nobody would notice. Donna Pitcher – Haldimands Unheard Voice made us aware of the situation and I attended yesterday August 7 along with Mark Vandermaas, and some citizens of Haldimand.

Having just finished reading what at a glance looked like it would be an excellent article in Toronto Life, I find it unfortunately necessary to rebut some complete untruths being told by this Mainstream Media Outlet.

The article is entitled “Promised Land, portrait of a community under siege” and is written by Marci McDonald. It contains an excellent section on Ann Marie Vansickle who spoke at the first March for Freedom in 2006 about the suffering her family has endured as a result of the Terrorist occupation of DCE, and then quickly degenerates into an incredibly biased piece of work. The author is clearly convinced that there must be both “good guys” and “bad guys” on both sides of the occupation, and she has chosen Gary McHale to be the “bad guy” on the non Native side.

A year ago we released the Liberal Plan for resolving Caledonia. It was clear that McGuinty was using the Alliance to influence the residents as McGuinty made secret deals with the Native Protesters during the low media period of August.

One of the problems McGuinty has had is the fact that Mayor Trainer speaks out – the only Haldimand Council member who does. McGuinty needed to have Mayor Trainer silenced and therefore the best way was to have her lose last Fall’s election.

The Alliance, being lead by Ken Hewitt, was to help ensure Mayor Trainer didn’t win the election. The Alliance backed Lorraine Bergstrand to be the Mayor in the election. [Link to Leaked Liberal Plan]

Lorraine Bergstrand phoned me and told me she had no connections with the Ontario Liberal Party and she was not working with the Alliance to remove the Mayor. Here are some points to remember:

  1)      Prior to my posting of the Liberal Plan, McGuinty was proud that he, unlike Harris or the Federal Government, was handling Caledonia quite well and would have a quick resolution.

 2)      After posting the Liberal Plan, McGuinty suddenly started saying that Caledonia was a Federal problem.

 3)      Ken Hewitt who claimed to have no connections with the Liberals ran for nomination for the Federal Liberals.

 4)      Lorraine Bergstrand, who claimed to have no connections with the Liberals, will be running against Toby Barrett in this Fall’s election. Which party is she running for… the McGuinty Liberals.

The Alliance Failed to fulfill McGuinty’s desire to replace Mayor Trainer.

After last year’s election, McGuinty needed another way to silence the Mayor and to regain control of Haldimand Council. In steps Fantino – the bully of residents and of the Council. Fantino was hand picked to ensure that by the time the provincial elections were to take place no residents nor the Mayor would be able to speak out against McGuinty.

This is why Fantino spent the months of Dec-March going on TV, Radio and doing newspaper interviews to slander residents and anyone who spoke out. If what Fantino was doing was okay for an OPP Commissioner then why has he been so quiet since April 7 after being exposed to the media for bullying the council?

Fantino threatened [Email] the elected council members. [FantinoGate] The Canadian Taxpayers Federation called for Fantino to be fired. [Link] Peter Kormos, NDP MPP, stated it was an attack against democracy and Fantino should be removed. [Radio Link] Any council member who spoke up was threatened with lawsuits.

McGuinty’s Control of Haldimand Council

What bugs McGuinty the most is that he cannot control Mayor Trainer. Fantino effectively has silenced Councilor Grice who is too spineless to stand up to Fantino’s threats. It was the council, including Grice, who voted against including McGuinty in the County’s Press Release a few weeks ago about who to blame for the on-going occupation.

Regardless of the following facts, Grice and the council put all the blame on the Harper Government.

1)      Harper Government has claimed since day one that the DCE is not a legal claim in Caledonia

2)      McGuinty went to court to fight against the injunction to remove the Natives.

3)      McGuinty bought DCE and then went to court to overturn the criminal charges against Native Protesters.

4)      McGuinty publicly stated the Native Protesters could LIVE on DCE.

5)      McGuinty paid for the Hydro & Water so Native Protesters could LIVE for free on DCE.

6)      McGuinty made it illegal for any non-Native to enter DCE without the wishes of the Native Protesters. – Trespassing charges would be laid.

7)      McGuinty repeatedly claimed he was looking after DCE and was doing a better job than Harris did in Ipperwash.

8       McGuinty appointed Commissioner Fantino.

9)      McGuinty is happy with Fantino’s approach in Caledonia. But according to council McGuinty shares no blame for the on-going problems in Caledonia – only Harper does.

The Mayor is the sole source of problems for McGuinty.

Mayor Trainer is the only one willing to speak up and the only one willing to tell the truth about what is happening – when was the last time Councilor Grice informed the public about what was happening?

Therefore, McGuinty needs to control the means of communications that Mayor Trainer has.

In a modern world that means email. It should not surprise people that council suddenly wants to have access to all Email to/from Mayor Trainer one month before the Provincial Election campaign goes into full gear.

If they achieve this, what will be next, opening up paper mail before the Mayor gets it? Tapping her phone conversations?

The Mayor is the only person exposing how the Council is kissing McGuinty’s ass and they don’t like it. Fantino silenced Grice and now Council wants to ensure control over the Mayor’s voice – this is a direct attack on Democracy itself.

It is now up to the People to decide whether Democracy is Important.

The recent report by Ontario‘s Auditor General exposed wild spending of grant money by the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration. The minister in charge was Mike Colle, since being appointed to this ministry in 2005. Now he has resigned in disgrace. At least that was a step in the right direction.

Too bad that this McGuinty Liberal had his priorities all screwed up.

It is also painfully apparent that Mike Colle, one of McGuinty’s Liberals, has his spending priorities all screwed up. He did, after all, approve giving the Ontario Cricket Association $1 Million taxpayers’ dollars. That’s about 30 times more than what the long term care home received for that oh-so-important diagnostic medical equipment. And the funny part is, the Ontario Cricket Association only asked for $150,000. So this means the Ontario Cricket Association was more fiscally prudent than Mike Colle, one of McGuinty’s fine Liberals.

Perhaps cricket, and to be sure, cricket is a fine game, is more useful than health. It certainly is more fun than being poked and prodded by diagnostic medical equipment.

As part of a last ditch effort to find something he can say he did during his reign as Premier, Dalton McGuinty is once again promising to close coal fired hydro plants including Canada’s largest in Nanticoke. This was one of his many promises during the 2003 election campaign.

Once in office, Dalton ignored his promises to the people in order to focus on the things that really matter to him such as creating new taxes, banning a breed of dog, trying to get junk food out of elementary schools, making the problems in Caledonia much worse, spending Millions on a pre determined Ipperwash Inquiry to justify his critisism of former Premier Mike Harris, and most importantly creating new taxes.

During the election, the closing of coal fired plants sounded like a good way to get the vote of environmentalists no doubt but it proved to be very poorly researched and extremely impractical. At the Nanticoke plant alone, there would be 600 jobs lost, and the price of our hydro would skyrocket due to low supply and high demand, so the plan was scrapped.

Over the years, unexpected issues rise to provincial significance. It is the responsibility of elected representatives to confront these new issues as they arise, based on unwavering principles and beliefs. When faced with difficult issues, government must always remember that the rule of law is not negotiable.

The rule of law is of particular interest along the Grand River and across sand country. Illegal land seizures, the illegal tobacco trade, and the burden of government regulation have done more than cripple our area’s economy – they have caused many to question whether we are all governed by the same set of laws.

To be clear, politicians do not tell the police or bureaucrats how to conduct day-to-day operations. There are other ways that government can demonstrate its commitment – or lack thereof – to laws.

Last summer, after purchasing the occupied land at Caledonia, Premier McGuinty sent taxpayer-funded lawyers to court to then legalize the land occupation. They argued that since Premier McGuinty’s government welcomed protesters on the occupied site, there should be no injunction against their presence. In my view, this was an easy-fix by a government with a weak commitment to the rule of law.

What does the Canadian Taxpayers Federation who represent your rights as taxpayers think about this “occupation” and our Government offering your money to Terrorists?

Here’s one brief quote from a recent statement

The federal government has made an offer of $125 million to Ontario’s Six Nations to resolve four outstanding land claims. This offer sends a message to natives everywhere in Canada that the rule of law will not be enforced and that occupations will end with a cash offer. ”

There’s an old saying, ‘if you break it, you’ve bought it.’ This rings true locally, as recent government policies have disrupted our economy on our area’s sand plain and along the Grand River.

At a time of year when construction and farming should be booming, a shroud of uncertainty has been created. Last week, at a meeting of 40 Haldimand County builders, it was reported some area property values have dropped 20 per cent. To the west, sand plain tobacco farmers learned that no hope is in sight – with this year’s crop 43 per cent smaller than last.

Combined with endless rules and regulations and red tape and forms to fill out, farmers and business people of all stripes are up against an increasingly hostile government. Regrettably, this compounds the trend – closed car dealerships, shuttered downtowns, and an out migration for work.

On May 29, in the Ontario Legislature, I listed a selection of the local jobs that have been lost under our current Ontario Government. In the Norfolk area, there are at least 284 manufacturing jobs down the drain while government focuses its priorities elsewhere.

In recent years, communities along the Grand River saw impressive growth – economically, and in population. Now, due to the threat of illegal land seizures, construction crews are a rare sight within six miles of the Grand. With no evidence of a government plan to deal with land seizures and occupations, construction crews – and their economic spin-offs – are largely looking elsewhere.

In addition to the failed approach to illegal land seizures, area residents continue to worry about Premier McGuinty’s promise to throw 600 people out of work at OPG Nanticoke. I frequently hear people asking why government would take another 600 jobs, after watching economic development slide to a halt.

Haldimand County has finally decided to take a stand on the terrorist occupation which has had them in it’s grip since February 2006.

Unfortunately they have chosen to stand beside the terrorists, the corrupt McGuinty government who worked very hard to ensure the death of law and order in Haldimand by purchasing the land in question at our expense to take jurisdiction over it out of the hands of the courts, and the Feds, and the OPP who have long abandoned the concept of being police officers and now stand as bodyguards for the thugs who occupy DCE.

It is the assertion of Haldimand Council today that none of those responsible for the situation they now find themselves in are to blame for it. Somehow it all falls on Prime Minister Stephen Harper. The answer according to todays press release is to appease the Terrorists by putting pressure on the Federal Government to expedite land claims specifically in Haldimand County. Let’s throw on some of those special glasses that Council must be wearing and look at what today’s press release says.
